Which D series Turbo manifold?

I'm in a bind. The full-race manifold is completely badass, but i dont have a grand to dish out on it. SS autochromes are just crap. Im not a big fan of the Log manifolds, but i might have to settle for one. And all the other cast manifolds have wastegates that bleed only the first cylinder....:???:

Any suggestions on what to get? I'm just shopping around and haven't found a whole lot...

so what kind do you want.

the SSautochrome, arnt that bad, i had 2 in my garage, but never used them becouse my turbo didnt fit, they dont look to bad of quality not the best but not the worst. dont judge them unless you have seen them in person

I just want a strong, good flowing manifold with an easy wastegate vent (that vents all cylinders)

oh believe me I have, just this week I put one on a B series hatch and i was not impressed. It had to be reinforced to make sure it wouldn't crack and the wastegate angle is absoluetely horrible. Not to mention the wastegate vent was partially blocked by the collector tube

oh and LongGrain, thats what I have now, its time to upgrade to bigger and better things.

cheap isnt the case, but there is no reason a manifold should cost more than the turbo itself...

if its of realkly good quality and actually aids the turbo, then yes it should.

no, there are plenty of nice manifolds around hear that are of plenty good qaulity and are of good price ($200-300 range). But... they are all for B motors... I'm looking for the same kind, just for my D

look for someone to make you a mini-ram or short tubular.

its a comprimise between cost and a great flowing manifold. not going to be as expensive as a ramhorn, but will outflow a log any day of the week
