Which deck should I buy if I have around $220 to spend?

I'm thinking alpine... also, where should I get it? And how hard is it to install myself? Is the harness pretty much just connect wires and plug in?

well... I need mp3 and wma playback, and I guess sub controls would be nice to have, but not needed.

i can vouche for the alpine cda-9847, it has all the features you need, plus more. it looks great and is easy to use. the installl was easy and i would suggest getting it from crutchfield because you get the wiring harness for free from them.

or you could get it for half their price virtually anywhere and pick up a harness for 7 bucks.

I can vouch for the alpine cda-9833, one of the best cd player from my pov. It has everything you need and I bought a PIE ALP/Ai-3.5M Ai-NET to 3.5mm Auxiliary Input adapter that allows me to get the best reception for my ipod. The install for a cd player is straight forward especially with numerous websites that show you step by step how to install one. I had to rewire my harness from the stock to the alpine, if you have a wire diagram, it is as simple as matching up the colors. I would go with alpine or eclipse, but im biased for alpine

i love my pioneer deck. it has wma/mp3 playback, plus all kinds of equalizer controls... some of them i dont even know what they do. best part is it was only $179 installed at bestbuy.

Crutchfield is cheaper than best buy. I had them price a system for me... $1500... crutchfield wanted $900 for the same system and btw... best buy price didnt include installation

The wiring is the only thing that scares me.
