ok i am running 10 psi (t3) on my built z6. i am now trying to take on 20 psi.

here is the problem-- i knew that i needed to put colder plugs in so i did, i put in some bkr7e's, i thnk thats what they where. but it made it worse (got all bogey and would like cut out at about 5 psi) so i put the stock plugs back in and its running great at 10 psi. but now its doing the same thing when i get to about 13 psi, it just all of a sudden like cuts out and gets really bogey.

what is the deal, do i need to try some different plugs, or wires, or do i need a MSD ignition or what. and yes my plugs are all gapped at .30

any help would be greatly appreciated

did you bother to tune your car for 13 psi?

and the gaps should be .030 not that you could gap them .30 without breaking them anyway. lol

What kind of setup up do you have? I hope it's not a afc hack.

knowing if you're lean or not can easily destroy your motor. invest in a wideband, you'll be happy with it.

Very true, if it gets anywhere near 14.5:1 or higher, I cut mine off

wait...what boosted car do you own? you last thread involed buying a civic and putting a turbo kit on it. your car can go higher than 14.5... s**t it idles there. so your tellin me that between shifts when there is nuthing being dumped in and your AF goes above 15 cause all its doing is pumping air...you shut your car off?
