I'm looking to replace my stock shift knob in my ex. I was wondering if a stock/oem shift knob from 99-00 si, 97-00 integra type r, or R18 2006+ civic will fit my car. Anyone know for sure. Any info/help appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, EM1, DC2, and FG2 knobs will fit your car.

I would highly recommend an S2000 shift knob.

^^thank you for the reply.

I'm looking for this style of knob:

I have this knob in my WRX and I like the feel. The oem si/type r/2006 civic + are very similar in shape to that knob, that's why I'm looking into those. Or if anyone knows of aftermarket with the similar style/leather, please post here, thank you.

I really dont think the new Si's have that style knob, I could be wrong though.

Id look into the Spoon Duracon knobs. They have them shaped like that, but I dont know if they offer leather wrapping.

I was reffering to the 99-00 em1 si's not the new fg2 ones. The 2006+, I meant the regular civics, 5 speed, non-si.

My friend has the 2006 Si, and I drove his car a few times, and I don't like that particular knob, stock, because when shifting fast to second at redline my hand would slip off, never had that happen in my WRX.

I believe the TL-S has a similar knob as well.
thanks, I'll look into that knob.

Just checked it out, exactly what I'm looking for, the new ones go for 90+, which is way over my budget. Hopefully finding a used one won't be too difficult, I hope..
