Hey, I bought this cheap APC billet short shifter, I was supposed to recieve one that would fit my 1997 honda civic ex, but the company sent one that is made for a 94-? Integra GSR. I called him and they said it 100% guarented it would fit, but then I called APC and they said I would have to shave down the ball. What do you guys think will this fit my car, and please don't tell me that APC sucks, and that I should by a different one I know but, im running on a fixed buget here. Thanks

92-00 civics and 94-01 integras all use the same shifter style, so it will fit without any problems. skunk2 shifters its the same part # for all 92-00 civics and 94-01 integras, so itll be good.

It will fit...I remember when I got mine...it said integra on the box too. I've had it for 3 1/2 years now...works great. Mine is a cheap AC Autotechnic one.
I also got an APC short shiter (oops, I mean shifter) from Ebay for my 97 civic ex. The package also said integra. It installed and fit. Nothing incompatible about the ball. However, the shifter (and this is a common problem to many short shifters including Skunk2 and DC Sports) is that the longer length at the bottom causes the counter weight on the shift linkage to bang into the stock exhaust. As a result, I'm still running the stock shifter and the APC one is sitting in my trunk.
The APC shifter came with 2 brass washers... those are unnecessary for the Civic and are needed as spacers for an Integra. Mystery solved.

It will fit, but APC is one of the worst shifters you could have bought...I know it was cheap, but you get what you pay for most of the time
