Will it handle it?

Well after destroying my itr block by rebuilding it for boost im thinking about rebuilding it back to 11:1 or 11.5:1 and running a 75 direct port shot. My question is will a wiseco piston with that high compression be able to handle a good shot of nitrous?

depends on many things, material, hardness, thickness, overall design etc...

Do they have any typical applications they see them used w/? Do they have recommendations for compression ratio range and hp goals? Just make sure you use some colder stage spark plugs and also might have to retard your timing i would assume, maybe a few others as well.

those wiseco pistons are very good they should hold. contact wiseco and talk to someone there

Thanks for the input. Yeah i probably will contact them tomorrow. Still cant decide whether or not to just boost since the block is built for it. Its the fact that i destroyed a type r that kills me.

Nitrous works better with high compression.
