window tint

any ideas how to remove window tint on a rear window with defrosters u can use a razer blade.

i wouldn't. u could cut the metal ribbons.

hmm goo gone? or a heat gun to prevent ripping the defrost lines...and then use the goo gone to clean up the adhesives.

i mean u cant use razer blades thats why i ask i havent tryed goo gone i tryed the heat gun but it didnt do anything.

hmmm. idk about the heat gun. if u get too close, it may melt the tint to your windows. u could get it professionally removed. idk how they do it tho.

my buddy took his off with gasoline....seems to worked...ive never tried it though

do it on a hot day and some gasoline will do the job, just be careful with the defrost lines

Just use some ammonia. Let it soak and peel it off.

walmart sells this stuff called tint remover. i would try that hence the name lol

Yeah follow the directions with what that link says, don't listen to everyone else... sweating it out works and usually wont mess up the defrost lines

U don't need to work that quickly, u just gotta know how to do it. But if u got the money u could always take it somewhere but I wouldn't do that. Y are you taking the tint off ur back window?
