Has anyone ever had their windows come off track??? Mine will roll up halfway and then start rolling up the rubber piece with it. Anyone know how I could fix it?

do you have power windows? if so its more than likely the regulator. mine does it now been like that for almost a year. the only way to fix it is get a new regulator $60-65 from honda and get a new window track ( the part thats rolling up) its $40-45 from honda.

he drives a dx so prolly not power windows.. i have taken mine apart on other cars but not had to on my 96 dx hatch yet but just take the door panel off and the problem should be self explanatory.. might have just slipped off track or something minor might have broke..

I think that this is actually a common problem among 6Gs. There's a thread in here somewhere asking what common problems are for Civics and the windows coming off track seemed to resurface repeatedly. I know that my first Civic ('97 EX coupe) had it happen one night. We ust hurridly dimantled the door paneling from the interior and fixed it since it was raining out and my Civic had no cover.

i have a 96 civic and the window had come off track one time too..the guy i took it to just opened it up and kinda pushed the window track/rail in and i guess he sort of did something to make the track stay there...just a minor fix.
