Wire Gauge

Hey whats a good gauge of wire to get for doing a bunch of different wiring? i was looking to put in some leds and hard wiring my garage door opener. i was thinkin of just gettin one big spool if there is one common one, personally im thinkin i could use 16g for pretty much whatever.

You should be fine with 16-18 gauge.
