wiring help asap

Im installing a vtec light and im just about to go install it but now i want to make sure i dont wreck anything. The instructions im using are from somone on this forum and he used an lcd light with a resistor. They are all sold out at all the radio shacks here in toronto so i got a regular 12 volt light. Is a 12v bulb ok to tap into the vtec wire or would it bust something? Also would i still need to hook up a resistor to it? Is there a chance the airbag will deploy?

if u want to do that then get a relay if not u could mess up the circuit between the vtec and the ecu.

I have had mine installed for over a year. I used a LED from a fake alarm so it flashes. No relay used though. I would use aresistor though so power doesn't find its way back to the vtech through the LED.
