Wiring Speakers to Amp

How feasable is this on a 2 channel amp. Connect the front left and rear left in parallel to channel 1. Right front and right rear to channel 2. All speakers are 4 ohms, thus giving 2 ohms at the amp, no sub involved. Am I asking for trouble, blowing speaker, overheating amp?

If your amp is 2 ohm stable your fine. If not, it will overheat and pop fuses constantly.
