Alright, I posted a question in the 6th generation thread, but didn't get a lot of responses. I found out why they weren't long enough to connect. I forgot to install the SRS reel that is pictured below. I'm not to sure hwo this installs. Does anybody have or could find a picture of where that is placed when the wheel is off? I know it has to go on first before the wheel and bag.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks before hand.

ah okay.

So basically, you remove the wheel from the column and you should see a piece that resembles that exactly. You put it on, theres only one way as the screws line up. Then you turn the reel part all the way clockwise til it stops. Then you turn it counter-clockwise approx. 2 turns until the TOP part is centered and facing up. You must do this step or else youll break the steering reel. Then you feed the wires through on each side and put your steering wheel over the two "stems" on the reel.

Okay so it's the srs reel, steering wheel, and then airbag in that order to put them on. I'll take a look at it tomorrow night when I get home from work. The only problem is, I don't have the screws to hold the SRS to the steering column. Any clue what size or where I could get some?

Thanks for the help man.

yeah, you can buy em at the dealership (your best bet since you have nothing to match them up to) or try your best with homedepot screws.

damn. I guess I'll have to wait til Saturday to get them from the dealership, cause I need to go order some other screws I lost. Damn I need to start being more careful with these little screws. I dont want to change it by guessing with some hardware, I'd rather wait. Thanks for your help bro! If I have any questions come saturday once i get the screws, I'll PM you.

edit, wait, your sign says OEM Honda Parts - do you happen to have the part number =)
