Wondering if i should do this?

hey guys i need some advice. ok my brother has an 98 lx auto and he wanted to be a bit quicker nothing major just a more power when he passed people. i thought basic bolt ons but decided against it cuz for the price of i/h/e i could probably build a cheap turbo kit. however i was thinking against this cuz it's auto. i was thinking it could be done if i got an 98 ex auto tranny and run the turbo setup with a t-25 and keep is at about 6psi. you think it's worth it guys i just want him to have about 150 hp and he should be set. your advice oh and this is a daily driver

you'd be dropping quite a few dimes to make your car run high 16's instead of high 17's, your motor would wear quicker with no real gains to offset it, and your tranny wont last with any sort of "spirited" driving


in other words... i wouldnt do it

i agree, sadly there isn't much room for improvment with a lx engine and auto tranny. i wound't boost it, the car will become a lot less reliable and it won't be as quick as a boosted car should be...
