i just finished installing my turbo on my 95 dx and when i tach it up i dont get any boost. my turbo is .63 on the hot side and .50 on the compressor side. i was told i wont see any boost unless i was actually driving the since it is a big turbo for a small motor. can anyone tell me if this is true.

thank you for clearifying that for me.basically i wont be able to blow off at a stop light or anything like that would i.
i have the vaccume for my blow off running from the fuel pressure regulator. should i move it to another line.
no, thats a good location for it. You won't get any better unless you run a vacuum manifold. Which will run off the brake booster.
Just wondering, do you have an external waste gate or internal? Just tryin to help out before you come back saying you can't boost even while moving.

external with a 3 psi spring in it just to check it out and make everything works. the wastegate wont even actuate
yeah i get it from the turbo and my boost gauge is coming from the brake booster.
so, the waste gate won't open? Get a pic man. What kinda waste gate? Tial? Please don't say ss autochrome or xs power. If it is ss or xs chances are its not even gonna work. If its tial or something of that style, make sure the vac line is going to the bottom fitting for vacuum and not the top. The top is for a boost controller.
its an xs and i have the vaccum going to the bottom of the wastegate.
i finally drove it and the wastegate works and everything but now i cant get the blow off to work. so i i am going to try to loosen the spring and see if that works.
