Ok so i know that the usual intake header exhaust doesnt do much on a d16y7, but i wanna hear opinions on intake manifolds. I was debating buying a edelbrock performer x since i plan on going turbo eventually. I was inbetween that or the victor x. I have a y7 right now, not the y8 intake manifold. So im thinking this awould be a good upgrade. Anyone think this upgrade would be worth it?? I was going to run a larger throttle body most likely. thanks guys

Good call on the boost, but I'd just keep the mani you have now unless the y8 one is like hella cheap. Like under 50$. Other than that, why not just get a gsr TB or something? you can use anything that is that size.

...i think he meant is buying a victor-x or performer-x mani upgrade worth it..

imo, yes, if you are planning on boosting you might as well make sure your setup can breathe nicely..and doing it in steps is the smarter way of doing it rather than rushing and cheaping out

once again im a +1 on the idea....btw imo...edelbrock FTMFWW

yeah you got it lx. lol the y7 is probably the worst manifold ever made for civics. It looks like the car is carbed and it looks like s**t, but i think ill just go buy the performer x. hopefully i notice a difference. if not, when i turbo comes along, then i will =)
