So I have a 94 Integra GSR that is in the middle of a painfully long project that I feel like I may never finish. _Now that I'm in college 6 hours from home I would love to have a car and with the Integra sitting in the driveway with no engine and a fully built B20/VTEC longblock sitting in my garage I just have this feeling like the car is never going to drive. So a friend offered the following trade:

94 Integra GSR with the GSR shortblock and misc bolts and stuff (the engine is out of the car). I don't have any mods on the car's exterior besides some clear corners and all red tails.

For a 96 Civic hatch with a B20b in it. I get to keep my B20/VTEC and I can drop it in there when I get some time, but for now I'd have a driving Civic hatch with a JDM B20b.

A hatch with a b20 in it has ALOT of potential...if you really feel like you wont finish your teg project, trade him

dude tim ... do that s**t ... thats a f**kin hella good deal and you been wanting a hatch for a while now ... once you get your b20/vtec into it it will be fast than your teg would have been anyway.

it wont, since the b20 comes out of an suv its considered a "truck motor" and you arent even able to get it bar approved for use in a civic.

Not to worry, york2600 has contacts to take care of the smog issue.

heres some old pics of the integra for you guys.

b20b block

b20b head

before the b18c1 was yanked

rims which i have borrowed on a few different occasions

and the funniest one ever ... not knowing how to put the motor on the engine stand and propping it up with a recycle bin

You just had to show the engine prop pic didn't you? The stand is kinda useless. It's just a dinky 4 banger not a huge iron V8.

na. i would not go for this trade, just for one reason Integra looks much better than the hatch (subjective). It will be slower, but not soooo slow....

well, if u can get the fwend to just trade his engine for yours, than it would be perfect, cuz a b20 in a teggy is a dream come true, but realistically, ill go for the hatch, even tho the teggy looks a lil sportier than the hatch, but it'll be faster than most imports on your neighborhood street. lol, ill go for tha swtich!!

Looks like it's all off folks. The guy added up what it would take to be serious in the drag world and decided his money would be bettter spent elsewhere. I guess it's time to plan to fix the Integra. Melt find me a damn cheap 98+ front end, rear bumper and a paint job.
