I just rescued a 1988 Civic. Gave it a tune up, new water pump, timing belt, hoses belts, alternator, ran Sea Foam through it and detailed the interior. It runs great except it has a bad throttle position sensor. I took the old one out and ordered a new one. the new one showed up and it is exactly opposite -- turns the opposite direction and is angled the opposite direction from the one I have. Did some research and found that this is the way the dual point fuel injection TPSs are and from searching around, a TPS like the one I need is impossible to find. Does anyone have an idea where I can find a new TPS or even have used DPFI TPS kicking around that I can buy? Anything would help. I've run into a brick wall here.
