Wuts up ppl I'm new to this site n civics! On my search for a car to get from my house to work n back I came across an 02 Honda civic si! I love the car but I do have a question when I bought it from the small dealership the sales person said the previous owner blew the original engine! So my question is, could it be possible that I don't have an si engine?! How can I tell?! I really appreciate the help n look forward to working on my car!!!!

Alright well my engine looks jus like the one that itsmycookie posted I jus don't have the ivtec cover!

If it's a reputable dealer they will replace the motor with the same one. Only sketchy places do that.

Welcome man! What does the stamp on the engine say? It should be a K20A3 if it was replaced with an Si motor.

I would look for a diff. one.
