Okay Im buying an XBox 360 Slim next week but want to hook it up to my pc monitor via VGA... However I will not have sound because it comes with a 3.5mm connector for the sound and my PC speakers do not have a headphone input. Is there a way to plug the 3.5mm cord into the mic input of my pc and run an application which will run the sound out of my speakers? if not, what can I do?

Just get a cheap pair of speakers to use with it.

I don't wanna :(
Then just plug it into the Mic input port, have Windows unmute the Mic input in the Volume Control manager and adjust the volume from there.
