y does my amp run high current at times??

i have a sound stream rubicon 604 4ch amp hooked up the my mids. y is it that when i have it turen up it goes into high current for about 5 secs then it goes back to regluar current?? heres my setup.

punch 200 dsm ( ol skoo)
3 10 jl w
phoenix gold crossover 3 ch. i belivee
soundstream rubicon 604
polk momo 6x9
infinity mids in front

how do you know it is going into high current, is there an indicator on the amp that lets you know this

yes it tells me on the soundstream amp.
