Y8 parts question

I got a 93 EJ1 with a JDM D15 single cam vtec engine with the LSD tranny. I was curious if newer 96-2000 civic EX Y8 parts work better on my motor like the cam and intake manifold mainly than what comes on it. Obviously it will have other bolt ons to help it. I mean i kno normally JDM parts are better flowing and make better power than USDM ones. But im on a tight budget like most people and want something fun to beat on and still be good to drive everyday. Cause the engine only has 45K miles on it so im not swapping it anytime soon and plus i like the engine its not bad for what it is. But if its not worth it then im going aftermarket with BLOX internals and manifold. So any input would be nice, thanx in advance

The d15b already puts down more HP than the y8. A y8 cam will set you back performance wise.
