i liked the look b4 actualy... as it is what you wanted and i think it make you different then n e other civic on here...
if you put stock taillights i think it would have looked good... oh well your ride...
i just think its sad that you do what people tell you to do and not what you like.. your car no one elses.. but congrats after hundreds of dllars your left with a stock civic... blah

i agree you should do what you want and not listen to what everyone else thinks because initially you have to be happy with your car. But on that case i liked the car better before as well, although you could have done without the headlights, tailights, wing and dual exhaust. thats my 2 cents.

After comparin the pics, your ride looked pretty good with the kit on. Like everyone says, you should do what you feel when going about fixin up ur ride. Well, keep us posted on what else you plan to do next.

The kit looked decent.....

But I guess bc you joined clubcivic.....the JDM CAPITAL OF THE WORLD  that you had to "modify" your car, to make it look stock...........that sounds weird doesnt it???? :???:

There is no nice way to say this..

Do what is right for you - not everyone else.. If you liked the kit, I would highly reccomend putting it back on. You could find half a dozen cars that look exactly likes yours in any local highschool parking lot..

Yea, it may have been a big heavy body kit.. but you did it right. The CF hood looked clean w/ the grills, and the headlights are sexy as hell.. I would never go back to the OEM's after copping a set of heads like that.

Now, without the kit, your car lacks depth.. it's a very noticable difference.

But then again, I'm just another person with another opinion. As long as it makes YOU happy, right?

the thing of it is, it wasnt put on well and the kit itself was cheaply made and falling apart. after having it so low the first lowering session, there are holes that have been worn through the bottom of the kit. My car is a 20 footer. It looks good, from 20 feet, any closer and crap bunch of cheap parts headlights have haze and plastic is eaten away, halos dont work and the fitment is way off. Yes i could have paid to have it done right, but i just cant deal with the upkeep. Paint chips all over the front and fiberglass bumps and such on the sideskirts. Im stuck between loving the JDM 99-00 look and between the way it was, either way its gona take a good body shop to fix me right.

I also feel like that spoiler and sideskirts were a negative in the performance category. Carbon fiber trunk no spoiler would pull 30lbs off the furthest point from my drive wheels. I cant go the show car route any more.

i was in love with the look of the kit and all, but i just got tired of crappy daily driving, I have not decided what to do yet, but for now either direction the kit off is the next step so it doesnt recieve any more damage from gravel, etc...
