big props to genuine rolla.

well i blew out my bulb for my low beams and instead of getttin the gay stock bulbs i bought me sum HiDs! it was such a great deal i bought wifey a pair 2! no fogs is wifeys car (8000k) and with fogs is mine (10000k) these things are bright as fawk. i tryed takin some pictures but my camera sucks. heres what i got.

very n0ice mang. How are you liking the 10K and 8K. I found that i really like the 6K...perfect amount of color and brightness for me.

i bet if you retrofit your headlights, the output would look even better, I got some HID's on my teg and I love them, except I wanna retrofit them to get the full potential outta them, stock integra projectors FTL, they are made for halogen light, not HID's.

10k is pretty extreme. i would stick with 8k or 6k. hopefully ordering mine this weekend.

trust me they will get brighter over time. You will also get a nice violet color

yeah once i get a few extra hundred, I got a dude that can retro them for me....so they'll be better a little down the road....but don't get me wrong they are still better than anything stock. Oh BTW mine are about 5000k with yellow highbeams....it works will well in foggy and rainy weather.

I got mine from a dude off of clubintegra....he makes the kits out of the lexus ballasts and bulbs....so far I have no complaints....just the only compliant I have is gettn my projectors retrofitted so I can get the full effect of the HID.

i was thinkin bout goin with the 8k but i like the 6k. my buddies rockin the 8k in his and everyone flash's their lights at em.. i cant take that sh!t all the time.. 6k is jus fine.. but looks hella better

what exaclty is retrofitting? is that where you get rid of the shield in the housing?



these things are sick. when im on the highway everything lights up blue. i can finally see potholes before i hit em.

im just curious...are these things illegal? i no bmw and lexus come with em stock but i drive a honda and im wonderin if this is another excuse to get pulled over.

You don't know a damn thing about color temperature, so don't pretend you do. 10K is miles from yellow. Yellow/green is around 3K or lower in the color temperature spectrum.

what exactly u have turned on in those halogen pix? just ur foglights? they look like they;re aimed a bit low dont u think?

I know a few guys on HID forums that are using PnP kits for their fog lights and they're just as happy with them as they coule be. As i do agree that its a whole lot better to put HID's in a retrofitted housing, I really dont think that PnP kits are all that bad. Yes, in stock housings they'll cause glare and all this. I think that 10K is wayyy too high. Just last night i saw this kid with freaking...dark blue HID's.....everything was as blue as culd be but you couldnt see more than 10 feet in front of him. The highest i'd go is 6000K. not to mention...in those pics that he posted, he has the flash on.

he doesn;t have them in his fog lights. in his first post he is pointing out that the car with foglights is his thus has the 10k bulbs and the car without fogs is his wifes, 8k.

i still dont understand wtf i;m looking at in those pix.

Best color for HIDs is 4300K, white with no blue and a tinge yellow, 100% DOT legal (as far as the bulb goes).
