well i know this forum is for civics...but my mom's cr-v has a problem that hopefully you guys can help me out with...a few weeks ago her battery died and as you all know it resets everything in the car, she has a stock radio and since the battery died theres the word CODE on the screen and you have to put in some kind of number sequence (1-6) to make it work again, do any of you have experience with this problem?? if so, please let me know!!! thanks

They normally don't do that. But you're going to have to remove the radio to get the serial number off of it and either take the car and radio to honda or call them. They may want proof of ownership though.

EDIT: well i tried it and "U230" popped up on the screen, then about 3 seconds later "L538" popped up, it was switching back and forth every 3 seconds or so...

I have seen numerous honda's with the security code on the glove box. crv's may be diff though.
