AMP cut off

i know for those of you who have a nice big setup, i have this because i have a child,
but my question is would cutting off the remote wire have any effect on a fuse or anything at all in my car?

I have a simple rocker switch in my remote line, its defitly worth it for a few bucks and 5mins of work. it wont harm a thing, as long as you wire it right

as long as it's wired correctly it wont effect anything, and it's incredibly easy to wire up

i used to have one when i was being pulled over every week for my stereo being too loud
"you must have heard the car behind me officer, see, my stereo doesnt even work"

lol, i got a spare toggle switch kinda bulky, im thinken bout puttin in a lighted switch but thank you for the help

i have a small round rocker switch from radioshit... its mounted under the dash out of sight, but its easy to throw while driving, center console is a common location
