:I may have a certain Integra in line to do battle with K-swapped Civics That's understandable because my D50 was in the $600 range, and I'm pretty sure a D40 is lower than that so I can see why he was acting that way about your decision to spend more money on an obsolete (even my D50 is discontinued ) camera

Try and get a D80 or find a nice used D50 for the right price

actually the d40 with the 18-55 was only 523+ tax..for $543+tax u get d40 with 18-55 + 2 1 gigi cards..
the 700 one came with the 18-115 lens is all..

and i guess ur saying it wack cause of the 6.1 mp? is so it's not like im really printing huge pics anyway u know...

No, I'd steer away from it only due to it's obsolete/discontinued (to my knowledge anyway). I think the D40 was replaced with the D50, which has now been replaced by the D80

God man your car always looks nice as hell and your pics are always damn good too! How is it w/ that thing? My friends mom had one and I've ridden in em and I love em but man they seem so cramp, and I'm not even that tall 5'9".
