this just popped into my head about 5 mins ago. the question is does weather effect a tune? lets say a car gets tuned at like 90F degrees with lots of humidity. will the air/fuel ratio be different at around 30F? would you have to get it retuned?
There are correction factors in the ecu that compensate for air temperature and other things that would affect the tune.this just popped into my head about 5 mins ago. the question is does weather effect a tune? lets say a car gets tuned at like 90F degrees with lots of humidity. will the air/fuel ratio be different at around 30F? would you have to get it retuned?
not really, as long as they kept there o2 sensors it shouldnt be very differentHighly modified turbo cars + temperature/alltitude change = bad.
The o2 sensor has absolutely nothing to do with wide open throttle driving, where it would be most important.not really, as long as they kept there o2 sensors it shouldn't be very different
