yo, my name is alex and i got a 99 civic dx hatch. im only 15 so i dont exactly have the most $$ but i spend every cent i have on it and i have a huge turbo setup that im gettin on soon, hopefully bringing the d16y7 up to over 300hp!!!

yea its not all jdm yet, but after the turbo kit thats the next thing i'll be working on. i have a set of drag dr16's (gt3's) waiting for some tires, so we'll see about that next...

How much did you blow on the turbo kit? and youve got a D16y7... Dont expect 300hp. Swap out the y7 head with a y8. Its got a bigger Intake...

You should lower it also.

yea i wanna get some coilovers when i get the wheels on. i will post all my turbo parts and pics tomorrow cause im too tired to remember all of it cause its literally a closet full of parts.

thanks bro! yea the dr16's are a bit expensive and i wish i woulda waited after the turbo kit to get them. i like engine swaps but i just figured that i could get some major power out of the d16 if i put some $$ in it so i never swapped it.

thanks and yea i like the wheels too but they have some scrapes so i decided to get new ones. alot of people have opinions and they do only look good on a few cars, and i think civics are deff one of those cars.

I wouldnt tune that at 20 PSI but its not my car. Good luck with the car.

good job with your plans on a boosted sohc. i always like to see the underdog or underdogs (honda, and sohc's) get out there and throw down.

youll prob be looking at around 200+ whp on that motor, which in your hatch, is some giggles considering the power to weight ratio.

imho the rims are a little too big for my tastes, im hesitant to go to a 16" on my hatch because the small wheel/low combo looks so much more well proportioned.

thanks for the comment! i am really excited to get the parts on and see how it turns out. alot of people i know are domestic fans so they automatically think mustangs are the best cars in the world, until they see my turbo d 5 cars ahead of them...

and the other reason i got the drags was cause the wheels were too big. they look alot bigger in the pics than in real life, but there still too big for me.

300 out of your motor is a tad much, but can be done. My friend's 4 door with a d16y7 made 300, alot more now with the y8 head.

But nice ride/plans and what county is 75 or 76 can't tell... I'm in 60, aka Muskingum or Zanesville.

*Edit* Front lip will make it look alot better.
