Well since i am a chef by profession and all of you people love to eat on this site. I figured I would make a chef's corner thread. You ask a question about food and ill give you an answer. You need a recipe and ill give you one or anyone who wants to share one on here can do the same .
I think its a good idea since were all food lovers in here we can at least share some of the food that each and everyone of us eat in different regions of the world and country . So here it goes :

Garlic mashed potatoes , with sweet NJ corn on the cob, and argentinian skirt steak.

Garlic mashed potatoes
Golden potatoes- 5lbs
8 cloves of garlic,
3 Tablespoons cream cheese
2 tables spoons salted butter
crushed black pepper to taste.

Boil potatoes until soft, then mince garlic, Add all ingredients to potatoes and mash or mix in a Kitchen Aid mixer with paddle attachment until soft and creamy.

Skirt steak
1 cup olive oil
3 or 4 cloves of garlic
1 teaspoon black pepper,
2 teaspoons Kosher salt
1 teaspoon dried cilantro
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper.

Trim excess fat from steak, mince garlic and combine all ingredients coat steak and let sit for 2-3- hours .... or however long u have to let it sit. THE LONGER THE BETTER
Once its marinaded cook to however you like it . I prefer medium.

Corn on the cob
however many pieces u think u can eat.
Shuck corn and clean, then place in a pot of cold water and heat until water starts to boil . Turn off and drain. Season however you like. and . ................ you have a Frikken Sweet Meal.

I hope this works out for everyone.:yummy:

OK . Yea man i could throw some complex recipes out there but i doubt anyone would even try to comprehend how to cook them . There are so many techniques of cooking its scary. Im not a noob when it comes to the kitchen ive been cooking since i was 8 . Just never did it has a profession until 3 years ago . GO figure. .

Hard industry to get into . SO many people want to cook. BUt so many people cant. Ive been told by some top chefs that i will be big in the buisness when i get outta school . Hopefully they are right. I even got some offers to work with some big dogs when im done. And im almost there.
