So got done installing the turbo kit yesterday night, mechanic said it was a b#%ch to install which i believed with all the scratches he had on his arms.

As for the ride itself, i'm not too impressed with the power but im still breaking it in, so i didnt take it up to its limit yet. So im hoping it will be more satisfying later. Would it be best to tune it? I will post pictures up tomorrow. Thanks and any advice on turbo upgrades or more power for the car would be appreciated.

"So got done installing the turbo kit yesterday night"

"mechanic said it was a b#%ch"

sounds like you had nothing to do with the install

I'd really like to see a few different options for turboing FG2's so if you can how about some pics or if someone reads that has one, post it up.

Sorry couldnt take pics today, as for other mods: tanabe touring medalion exhaust and thats all. I'm using the emanage ultimate that came with the kit. But yeah I didnt have anything to do with the install, i watched him but thats it.

just had a turbo kit installed, and taking it on a road trip right away doesnt sound like the best idea..

but how much did he charge you to install the turbo kit? and what turbo kit did you buy?

Sorry just got back, the ride to and back was fine, I got the greddy turbo kit and got it installed for 400. Tried gunning it a few times and after 6k rpm it feels like it stops boosting big time. Anybody got any suggestions? I talked to a few guys and they said they will tune it but it wont be for a week or 2. I think theres no point in posting pictures because you cant see the turbo.

Maybe you should've put some miles on it before going crazy on the gas pedal. :what:

Most people won't tune it until atleast 750-1000 miles on the setup.

I did a full dyno tune before putting ANY miles on my car. I trailered it 200 miles to an AEM certified tuner right after install. Driving on an untuned car, not the greatest idea....
