bigger injectors

ok this kinda is in teh boost category, but i just bought a swap and it was boosted so it has bigger injectors. can i just go get a basemap for an all motor tune and have it work with teh bigger injectors or do i need stockers?

so the motor was boosted - you bought it without the turbo kit right?just to clarify things ...

but it still has the bigger injectors?

if the motor besides the turbo kit was stock I would say to get stock injectors ...

yeah i didnt buy the turbo kit but he didnt have any spare injectors on hand so hes just lettin me use these in the mean time so he can find some stockers. so i would need stock ones in order to run a basemap for an ls/vtec?

you can get an ls/vtec basemap for the bigger injectors too. but i would want to get it tuned and not drive on it much.

yeah get stock injecters. I had bigger in injectors on mine and it just made me run rich. Also I was throwing cels

were you running on a map intended for those injectors?

to the op stock injectors or not you are going to want to get the car tuned. if they are 440 or smaller keep em in and tune on those. bigger will work but kinda overkill and you wont get as good atomization on the big ones..

then wait to swap it in until you do have money. or better yet, pull the big injectors out, sell them, then buy the right size injectors for whatever youre doing

Hey is there anywhere to just buy injector seals? I bored mine out and I feel pretty safe with it but still. . .

Nope ! The company said I could just put them in. So I believed them like a loser.

s**t man, i just oiled my stock and got nasty with 'em. pushed those f**kkas on. it was kind of a b***h, but no leaks
