lol i did on my 4th gen but people kept trippin over it when they got in the car so i hid itjust keep it out there, it looks cool. jk
that fuse is there because if you notice, the power wire (SINGLE SILVER WIRE) comes in from the left, on the OUTPUT side, theres a smaller gauge power wire (BUT WAIT? THERES 2) which means you need to fuse each one of those NEW lines. That 0gauge power wire is running 2 amps, appearntly.I know you don't need that fuse in the trunk, especially right after the cap

isnt the reason the fuse is under the hoodI know what a distribution block does
The point is a cap can be used as a distro block,
He should have a fuse under the hood. Never put the only fuse in the back.
And you don't need to fuse the new lines that close to the amp. Fused distro are for the looks. They serve no purpose other than being double cautios
No. Having your fuse more than a foot from your battery is a HUGE fire hazard. Think about it.yea that fuse can be there u can put the fuse anywhere on the hot wire..........but just lift up the side panel and tuck the wire down in the carpet..
x100No. Having your fuse more than a foot from your battery is a HUGE fire hazard. Think about it.
The fuse blows so that electricity stops after it.Any short between the fuse and battery are going to heat up your wire, potentially starting a fire.
Word of advise, get a fire extinguisher guy.
