Ok, so as some of you may know, a while ago i thought it would be a good idea to take my stock d16y8 to 8000rpm, well it didnt turn out pretty. 6 hours after doing the run the engine was knocking, so i knew it was toast . After searching for a good 3 weeks, i finally came across a motor i liked and wanted. So heres the specs:

Stock B18B1 Bottom End
B16 head with Integra Type-R cams and valve train
JDM Integra Type-R valve cover
Integra Type-R Intake Manifold
AEM cam gears
Skunk2 Short Throw Shifter
Integra LS Tranny equipped with a Quaife LSD
Exedy Stage 2 Race Clutch
Lightened Flywheel
Lightened Underdrive Crank Pulley
DC Sports 4-1 Header (#1 runner kinked in)
Autozone DIY Intake
P28 Ecu chipped with Hondata s200

Completely stock suspension and exterior. Sleeper anyone?

Currently running untuned and very rich on dsm 450cc injectors (previous owner had it boosted, i bought it as it was minus the turbo). Hope to get it tuned sometime in the near future (not for a while, dont have the funds right now).

Anyway, heres the pics i took:

So what does everybody think?

Right now the car is extremely slow (my friends 01 golf gls 1.8T with boltons is faster). Im hoping/assuming that its mainly because its running so rich from the bigger injectors. Shooting for approx 170whp after a good tune so ill keep everybody updated with what happens. Thanks!

haha. yeah my exhauts is stock, minus the muffler. the previous owner just cut off the stock muffler and welded on a resonator with a tip, still stock piping though. When i first had the swap done (first couple of days) i drove around open header w/ a cat on it. god that was loud lol had people ricing all over me for no reason. Now that its all hooked up, its actually QUIETER than the d16 believe it or not. I love it, its practically stock sounding when im idling and giong easy but when i get on it vtec screams!

well this one works fine imo, just becaues its an autozone special doesn't mean its all that bad. Its still got 3" piping with a decent filter. works better than the ex airbox did
