My friends & I finished installing my HID kit two days ago, but upon completion my gas needle stopped working and my parking brake light does not come on. Also my headunit turns on but I have no sound! I've tried a coupe of searches, and I'm planning on buying a Haynes manual to figure out what's wrong and I've also looked at all of my fuses and they seem fine. I upgraded my right headlight fuse from a 10amp => 20 amp but my left headlight is still 10amp and stll works fine. I also have an amplifier in my trunk, i don't know if that has to do with anything. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

hmmm what kind of car you got?

Kinda odd about the stereo not having output. Sounds like you clipped a speaher wire or shorted something out.

Is a four channel amp for your speakers that's in the trunk, if so check the fuses for it.

Check all of the cars fuses.

Put gas in the tank for the fuel gauge. jk

I've checked the fuses that's under my steering wheel and they seem fine. Well they have blown a couple of times but I've replaced them and they're fine. There was a loose connection under the hood for the bulbs. Where can I check the fuses for the amp? Where are they located? Should I just take off the amp altogether because it's making my battery + alternator run harder? Thanks for the replies. Help me out thanks.

There will be a power wire under your hood that should have a fuse holder on it within about a foot of the battery terminal. There will also be fuses on the amp itself. No you dont need to take out the amp altogether.

This is only if your amp is a four channel as far as your speakers not playing.
