Twisted Seatbelt Syndrom..

Anyone else have twisted front seatbelts in their EK? Recently, while putting my seatbelt on in my 99 si, i noticed it was getting tight. Just then i look at the pillar where the seatbelt sits above the shoulder and noticed the seatbelt itself had just flipped completely around in the slit of the bracket it comes in from.

2 Problems: Seatbelt doesnt retract on its own because of the added tension, and its twisted in yor lap and very annoying!!

For the life of me i can twist the seatbelt without cutting the damn thing!!!!! any ideas?

take the panels off and unbolt them and than rebolt them back on. from the floor.

yeah i believe mine has been doing that and causing the spring (or whatever it is) to lose its pressure, anybody know how to to replace it? or make the belt pull back harder when its ejected?

if your srs light on cause of the seat belt not retracting itself?

Unbolt them, fix them, bolt them back on. I think they use a 12 or 14.

i think its 17 on the pillar and floor? could be wrong.

It is 17 on the floor. id just unbolt it from the floor and twist it to where its straight
