Tried searching with no answers.

Anybody know of an IC core that is the proper length and equipped with rear facing endtanks to allow retainment of the stock fogs for a '99-'00? Or is there another way around? I don't really want to get rid of them, but will if I have to.

might have to get a core, and some endtanks welded on

That's what I'm thinking I'll have to do. I'm sure theres room on the pass. side to run a short route, rear facing end tank through. What about the drivers side?

That looks like it works perfect, those are some serious slicks right there.

you just have to find an intercooler where the endtanks arent centered, meaning they are either at the top or the bottom.

this is a little off topic but does anyone know if you need to do any cutting in oder to fit a front mount on a em1? if you do what has to be cut? i am planning on turbo charging my em1 this winter and that is the only thing that i am not sure about.

as long as your intercooler isnt really thick it should be alright..... you might just have to cut the tag bracket

From what I can tell, the core support directly under the hood latch will need to be cut if the IC core exceeds about 7"-8" and is thicker than 2.5". Other than that, a thinner and shorter core should fit with no cutting.

I personally don't mind cleanly trimming 1"-1.5" up the core support if need be (but that's just me).

the greddy ic kit should fit with fogs and i have a 99 si and the only part we had to cut out of the bumper is a flap of plastic just under the grill on the inside, don't know what it's there for but you can't see it from outside the car it's not a big deal

Sweet, that looks pretty good too. Kinda hard to see with the fogs on, I like it. =)
