DONT JUST PRY IT, ITLL BREAK
There is actually a window crank removal tool that will make both removing and installing the 'jesus' clip thats slid behind the crank. Its only like 10 bucks. They should have it at any local automotive shop (pep boys, kragen etc)

you can make the tool out of a coat hanger IF YOURE GOOD AT THAT kinda stuff. i wouldnt recommend this for beginners, but straighten it out and use some pliers to make a small hook at the end, about 1 cm diameter. this worked for me. just try to fish out the clip by tugging on it once you have a good grip. the reason i wouldnt recommend for beginners is because there is a piece of soft plastic washer placed in between the clip and the crank, i dont know why it is there but you can accidentally tear it if not careful, also the clip will fly off when pulled, be careful.

Or just use one of those small flat head screw drivers??

Push the panel away from the handle to get a good look at the metal loop/clip going around the shaft. Either pull from the looped end or push each side back.

Taking it off isnt the hard part, its putting it back on when you've worn down the plastic enough to where it slips into the locking area. But I've taken my panels off many many times.
