ok cc i need your help i must have measured wrong when i measured for my intercooler im building a ls-t del sol my intercooler core is 22" long by 12" tall very big i cut my front bumber support and mounted intercooler to it looks good but i cut out plastic mesh in bumber my intercooler is like 1 1/2- 2 inches below the bumber i would prefer not to cut stock bumber to expose full intercooler wanna clean car any opioun on cutting out full support between fog lights and makeing my own i do have welder my brother is ok at welding or show i get bodykit......thank you in advance for any help this is my first turbo swap

That's one tall FMIC! I see that you had to cut the ENTIRE bumper support, and it still sticks out the bottom. A different front bumper might have a bigger opening and stick down farther, i don't know if I would leave it like it is.
Maybe alter the bumper support so it mounts up even higher?

i am going to re support it but what i was thinking of doing was cut the support top, weld in 2 pieces of metal on each side to raise it up 2 inches and go along the whole support and weld on braces. i was trying to see if anyone else ran into this problem and what they did
your going to have to cut out your front crash bar and either add on some steel to the ends to raise up the intercooler or take out the crash bar totally and mount it another way. removing the crash bar is what your going to have to do im thinking, if you dont want to do this, get a smaller intercooler
looks like an xspower intercooler......is it??
we mounts it the same on my boys integra same intercooler to but you can see the bottem if you put a lip on it>
I say just get a smaller intercooler, like a 8" high one should be sufficient.
