everything in my interior is black and red.. so i dont get the clash comment.. i understand that your thing is stock everything.. and that i dont have so obviously you wouldnt like it.. its ok..
EVERYTHING you listed was done for means of function.. those items are for a use.. and that function is not based on looks..

Well, truth be told, not everything inside your car is black and red. Which would be why I mentioned stuff clashing. That would mainly be the blue and silver I see. This has always been a big complaint from me about aftermarket radios... so often they come in silver even though so few cars come stock with silver accented interiors. It just almost always looks off to me. Plus the VTEC controller is blue.

I'm not sure what function the monster tach has since you should already have a tachometer. And not so sure about the track kill switch and the switches on the console. The switches on the console really seem out of place to me. I heard about why you have the track kill switch, but I'm not sure why that issue couldn't' have been solved in some other way.

And not everything I do is based on looks. I do consider it before I do it though. I'm almost always sure there is a way to get something to work right and well and still look good on my car / match what I have already done on my car.

I wonder if there's a way you could somehow change the color of the controller at least.

in regards to the tach.. it has a shift light...and the stock ex tach only goes up to 8k MAX and the b18cs redline is about there the tach i have goes all the way to 10 and includes a shiftlight... also i sold the EX cluster with the tach.. sure.. i could have made my nitrous an oem honda bumper poll switch.. or maybe made the nitrous heater switch another fog light switch... or i could have hidden them under the carpet... but i prefer to have them RIGHT where i can easily get to them.... but again.. it just doesnt really matter if you like it or not.. lol

we JUST put the motor in... in an afternoon... wtf.. NOT worried about wires... worried about working correctly....

you're never going to make everyone happy lol.

Plus for the track (here in co anyway) you have to have a nitrous shut-off switch thats easily visible, and accessible directly on the dash, not some hidden s**t only you know about. Same way for a battery if you have it in your trunk, or not in the OE location.

Personally, the only thing i dont like is the monster tach, yes it serves its purpose for what you need it to do, but i feel there are other ways to go about fixing the problems you fixed with it. (cough, si cluster, cough) and then just keep the shift light.

Still love your car though man, especially your interior! Despite what anybody says lol.


Side note, since when did an engine need 409 and a tooth brush to operate? Last i checked, it didnt?

I'm the same person, only now there's a team of people on ClubCivic who have a problem with me no matter what I say. No matter what I say, the reaction will still be the same.

Why is it so odd that I'd defend myself when people criticize me for so little as having an opinion that doesn't hurt anyone? Why would I be happy and cheerful and flirty towards a bunch of guys who are pissed at me no matter what I say or do?

And you are right. Right around 2005 was when people started having issues with me. What interesting timing.
