and also if i was to get this cable could i just take the ecu out of my car and bring it to my desktop computer being i dont have a laptop?

You'll need a "piggy back" or standalone. Hondata, uberdata, crome, squirt, aem...google these up, you'll see what I mean.

well i planed on using neptune and im going to chip the ecu myself bcuz im good with soldering and all i think i need is the software the cable i posted and thats it correct?

With the Neptune RTP system you will need just the board. Which is $450.. it comes with the software and all the cables you need.

no the ecu has to be plugged into the car for power in order to make any adjustments to the ecu.
