you can chip an auto ecu, its just much harder to tune. Also the greddy emanage, and the apexi afc will all work.

no im running 5 PSI with a furl regulator at 42 PSI
so basically youre running no fuel managment... and you turned down your stock fuel pressure from 45 to 42 :smackself

leave it at 45... pressure really has nothing to do with how much fuel youre dumping into your combustion chamber. you didnt specify what engine you have but im going to assume that its a d-series that uses 240cc injectors. it doesnt matter if you turn your pressure up to 55 or more... the fuel injectors will only spray what they are rated for and that is 240cc max.

but thats ok, all is not lost. chances are youre not maxing out your injectors anyway. what you need is a program of some sort that will let you dump more fuel that your current stock fuel maps on your ecu are allowing. you have a choice on how to do it, chipped ecu, afc, fmu, ems. read more about them at pgmfi.org

an fmu is really not something you want to be using to control your AFR. they are old technology and are or should be absolete. something that works much much better than an fmu is a AFC. but of course you cant beat using an EMS or a chipped ecu.

but to answer your question get a 12:1 if your running low boost nothing more than 7psi. if your running more then get a 14:1 to be on the safe side. (as safe as you can get with an FMU which is not really all that safe)

Just get the Apexi VAFC. Take to a shop that has a dyno and tune it on the dyno. The EMS is way to complex unless you are really willing to do it right.
