no, its not a 8 second car....its a bone stock SI (well, he did remove the a/c power stearing, and cruise control) w/ a cage and a race seat/wheel....

its used for SCCA racing...his class is the Showroom Stock C class (SSC) and is basically the slowest group of cars on the track he said its actually funner that way, you have to REALLY work for your passes....

and i hope he does get some (more) t.v. attention...hes a GREAT driver, and deserves it

the paint scheme is FBP....those are just pink stickers thrown on at the last second....and one set of his spare wheels spray painted....in under and hour he could go back to having a bone stock looking FBP SI when you are at a huge race, and trying to get noticed - the last thing the cameras are going to want to focus on is a bone stock civic

as for the motor, its stock (again, except for removing AC / PS / cruise control) its a track car - but it just so happens to be in the slowes class, where its nothing but bone stock engines
