Where is best place to put security camera?

Not in the car 
It seems like kind of a waste of money if you ask me... I mean, if you get them on tape and the car's gone... what are the cops gonna do? I can almost guarantee they won't even look twice at the tape.
Also, if it's stolen isn't that the first thing they would take out?

hes trying to do that spy cam thing when that kid got pulled over and the cop threatend to put him in jail for no reason...lol

Mic in the door panel and if you dont have any tint, a camera on the rear deck pointed toward the driver side window.
For theives put it in the speedo area so you can get a face shot. And hook up bluetooth so it will tranfer the photo to your computer when motion sensor is activated. It'll be in limp mode till theres motion then snap a few shots or take video which would be sent to your computer to give to the authorities.

that sounds like something that'll work, but bluetooth probably isnt the best wireless transfer solution.... cause then the remote computer will have to be close by because of the short range bt has. my bro was telling me about gps prepaid mobile phones that can be hidden in the car to track it down.... so maybe the camera can be hooked up to that and photos can be sent as mms.... any suggestions?
Oh, your serious about this?? Whatever you do make sure you post it. I've wanted to do this for my carport since the last 2 break ins.
The security sucks here, and the theift is there to prove it. I've even had the security guard here ask me to jump start his car cuzz his laptop drained the battery...
