ok so i have a 2000 si engine in my civic and im trying to find out which ecu is the best my friend says get hondata s300 right well whats the difference between s200 and s300? dont they do the same thing
upgrading my p28 ecu wich add on is the best?

I would say run Neptune or Neptune RTP. Generally costs less than hondata and has the same features minus the boost control that the S300 has.
But as far as an ecu, you can use a P28 equivalent ecu and just have it setup for whatever system you decide to go with.
And as far as your decision goes, I would talk to your tuner and see what they tune the most or are more comfortable with.

Go download the Smanager software from hondata.com & download the neptune rtp software from hrtuning.com and decide for your self.
