So far so good bro..!

Get yourself some good primer. Don't get the rattle can junk. If you've never painted before then find something to practice on so that you get the feel for the gun and spraying, getting the spray pattern just right and whatn0t.

Spraying primer and base is easy. Its the clear that really takes skill.

Anything other than spray cans..haha. I got my primer from my paint shop..PPG primer...works well.

If your doing championship white, you'll want to go with a dark/black primer. Of course the base coat will be CW, do a couple coats of that then you hit it with the clear. Try not to cheap out with the clear...I did and mine did not lay out well at all so that meant more time wet sanding and buff in the end.

Why do you say go with a dark primer for white BC-CC? Generally what I do/have been told is try to get your primer as close to your color as possible. Like Genuine said PPG is quality stuff that will lay down good. For a good all around gun look for something with a 1.4 tip. Just read up, take your time, dont cut corners, and you should do fine. Good job on the de-rice.

wow sideskirts cost that much?

I went to the junkyard and got some for $25. I also traded the bodykit that came on the car for fenders, oem bumper, oem foglights, oem headlights. So they were free.

Car def. looks like it is changing for the better.

I think I got lucky on my parts.

Wouldn't waste my time making it a Type-R replica. It's not an R, never will be.

Just make it your own
