so i was sittin on the couch, watching drag racing, eating a tuna sandwitch and washin it down with a ice cold coke. then it hit me. im just like my dad. i remember when i was growing up he would do the exact same thing. i've been told that me and my dad are alike, and we're close friends, but i didnt think i would grow up to be like him.

anyone else ever had this happen to them?

My parents tell me I'm EXACTLY like my uncle that passed away years ago in a car accident. He was the best uncle in the world.

But the way I eat, talk, make noises, do things... My parents tell me constantly I'm EXACTLY like him. Kinda scary. I hardly remember him. Literally. Only like a handful of memories if that.

i'm most like my mom. we have identical expressions/stances when we get pissed off. i remember we squared off like that when i was a teenager once.

but... only with small things. like the way we sit in chairs, or our preference for loose t-shirts and jeans. otherwise i'm way more weird/quirky/liberal than anyone else in my family, and don't share any of their eating habits. oh, i smoke the same cigarettes as my aunt, but that hardly counts.

My dads side of the family always says I'm just like my great uncle, by the way I act and think, but I can't attest to that, he died before I was born.

My sister and I act like twins, but we are 2 years appart... its odd... I have my moms temper and dads receding hair line... fun right?

yes, believe it or not......... quite a few people have eaten a sandwich while watching tv....
i've done it too, i must be just like you're dad

there's allot of things that could be hereditary.... but i dont think that's one of them
