i have a td04-19t turbo and need a downpipe gasket. dont have the material on hand to make one. where does anyone recommend where to go to find one.

its a triangular shaped gasket. kinda looks like a rotary engine rotor. bit redundant on the syntax, but its late and ive been up since 4am

Yup, get it from the dealer. I needed one for a 14b and I just went to the mitsu dealer, they pulled out a book with a diagram to find the part number and that was it. It only cost me a few bucks too.

pfft...most factory turbo vehicles dont even use a DP gasket. get some Permatex Ultra Copper and goober it up, then bolt the DP up. it will work fine as long as the DP flange isnt warped

my biggest worry is that i have 8 grand wrapped up in this engine and i dont want to cook a piston b/c of an exhaust leak so close to the head.

not going to happen. an exhaust leak will not cause you to run lean enough to hurt anything
