cx tranny and boost?

i currently have a ex tranny on my turbo d, but it grinds 2nd and 3rd. i have a cx tranny sittin here but it has the longer gears...is this a bad idea to put on a turbo car?

it will make you much faster from a roll.

no it wont. it will be MUCH slower than an EX trans from a roll

id say save the $150 or $200 used ex tranny and buy it and run that cuz ex trannys are good i think.

i was just worried about how long i would be in boost in a certain gear

ex is the way to go, but a dx tranny is not really that bad, thats what i am running right now, and its deffinately still good for boost. 3rd gear goes up a little over 100mph
