I don't know if anybody else has had experience with them, but mine sucked.

Had a set (that's 4 in my case) and they all burned out after 8 months. That's just stupid for how expensive they are (around $80 a set). I had the extreme whites btw.

I had heard such good things about them, but I'm really unimpressed. I replaced them all with GE Blackhawks, which are brighter than the PIAA's, we'll see about their longevity.

Interesting. Never heard of GE Blackhawks. How do you like them? I have some Nokyas. A little more blue then I like to have. When they blow, I want something that is more white then blue.

I'm rocking the PIAA H3 Ion Crystals right now. They make the housing get pretty hot but I haven't had any issues yet. Have been using them for about 1-2 months now.

The Blackhawks aren't as white as the PIAA's were, but the light output is better.

Ive had piaa fog light bulbs (h3) in yellow for a long time now, Id say about 6-8 months with no problems - very bright too.

6-8 months isn't a long time though, especially for spending $160 on the two sets. 18 months, sure, I'd deal with that.

maybe you didn't install the bulbs correctly and touched the actual bulb with your greasy fingers.

PIAA are suppose to be one of the best. They been around forever. But I had experience with the plasma bulbs for my fogs and they lasted the entire time I had my Max
