D15 rods are smaller than my pinky finger, and they will eventually leave the block whether he likes it or not. I mean really, who turbos d15s anyways and expects big power.

those numbers seem right for that setup. should have done a b20vtec instead IMO..

im not disagreeing with you, im just saying that they are not maxed out with the power he is making. you're right, the rods will only take so much before they decide to see the outside world

what is the compression ratio on that motor anyway? you can calculate theoretical hp under X amount of boost if you know the displacement and compression ratio

you need vtec. i made 200whp @ 9-10psi (d16y8) on a greddy kit. and a greddy turbo is like half the size of the 57 trim

i would believe your little bit higher of compression along with the better flowing head and better intake manifold has more to do with that than vtec does.

ok the setup consists of a t04e .57trim, tubular mani, 90mm intercooler 38mm wastegate, 2.5inch straight exhaust no cat, no res to a tanabe fart can. 2.5 inch charging pipe. 440cc injectors everything else on the motor is completely stock. if there is anything else you want to know bout the setup just ask.

b/c it is a stock d15b7 and thats where i was told i could rev it to, i would love to rev i further but i was told i would blow it. truthfully i would love to find someone else to dyno tune my car b/c i really think that is my prob, the prob is there is no one else in my area that dyno tunes honda's.

Redline is 6800, I would at least take it there. The 57 trim is already going to be a late spooling turbo on your motor, you'll need to rev it as far as you can to make decent power, cutting the pulls short is going to hurt you (# wise).
What area are you from, I can see if I can locate someone near you.
